A law firm seeks an Employment Litigation Associate Attorney for its Baltimore, MD office.

Job Overview:

The Employment Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for defending and litigating lawsuits involving various employment-related claims, providing legal counsel to employers on labor and employment laws, and representing clients in court, administrative agencies, mediation, and arbitrations.

Duties:

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
• Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration in employment matters, including class/collective actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases.
• Provide advice and counsel to employers on a wide range of labor and employment laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in employment law.
• Active MD Bar admission or ability to obtain admission quickly.
• Understanding of current court and employment-related agency (state and federal) procedures.
