About the Organization:

Job Summary:

The Senior Attorney in Children's Legal Services will have primary responsibility for multiple cases and ensure that all legal requirements are met to secure safe and permanent homes for dependent children. This position will collaborate with investigators and case managers to gather evidence and prepare for trial, as well as advocate for children using best practices in litigation techniques.

Job Responsibilities:

- Primary responsibility for multiple cases and ensuring legal requirements are met for each child
- Collaborate with investigators and case managers to gather evidence and prepare for trial
- Advocate for children using best practices in litigation techniques
- Attend multi-week onboarding program and quarterly intensive multi-day new attorney training
- Fulfill all CLE requirements through webinars and live trainings
- Participate in special projects to develop strategies for better outcomes for children

Qualifications:

- Law Degree
- Experience in child welfare law preferred, but not required

Training and Development:

- Multi-week onboarding program
- Quarterly intensive multi-day new attorney training
- Annual multi-day Advanced Litigation Academy
- CLE requirements fulfilled through webinars and live trainings
