Job Title: Associate Attorney

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively utilize the firm's case management and reporting software to manage assigned matters.
  • Represent clients in bench trials and motion practice, demonstrating a solid foundation in civil procedure and loss mitigation.
  • Handle cases involving Title and Lien Priority, Title Claim, Foreclosure, Eviction, TILA, RESPA, and FDCPA.
  • Exhibit a commitment to superior client care and proactive communication.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft legal documents with precision.
  • Maintain and develop client relationships through excellent communication and service.

Requirements:

  • Must be a member in good standing of the Kentucky State Bar.
  • Being licensed to practice in Ohio is a plus.
  • 3-8 years of experience in real estate, civil litigation, and/or creditors' rights practice.
  • Working knowledge of Title & Lien Priority, Title Claim, Foreclosure, Eviction, TILA, RESPA, and FDCPA.
  • Proven experience in bench trial and motion practice.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Kentucky State Bar License.
  • Ohio Bar License is advantageous.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in case management and reporting software.
  • Strong foundation in civil procedure and motion practice.
  • Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
  • Exceptional client care and communication skills.
