Salary Information:
- Base salary range: $190,000 - $245,000 annually
- Compensation may vary depending on qualifications, skills, experience, and location
- Additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units may be available

Experience Information:
- Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school
- 7+ years as a practicing attorney with a focus on e-discovery and information governance
- Combination of experience in private practice and a corporate litigation department with a highly regarded firm and organization (tech or media, preferred)
- Strong knowledge and experience with . and Canada legal and regulatory obligations related to litigation, discovery, and information governance
- Familiarity with GDPR and the Stored Communications Act is a plus
- Skilled at learning complex technology quickly and translating technical issues into lay terms
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders
- Member in good standing of the New York bar association or another bar association with the ability to register as in-house counsel in New York

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with eDiscovery team, litigation teams, and other stakeholders to develop cutting-edge solutions and best practices for eDiscovery and information governance
- Apply legal, eDiscovery, and information governance knowledge to support active litigation, regulatory, and investigation matters
- Partner with eDiscovery lead and internal teams on legal issues related to eDiscovery and information governance policies, strategies, and workflows
- Advise on internal policies for creation, use, retention, and disposition of company information

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school
