Job Title: Criminal Defense Attorney – Juvenile

Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in criminal defense
- Experience with juvenile cases preferred

Law Firm:
- Placer County based criminal practice
- Offices located in Roseville and Auburn

Department:
- Criminal defense department

Responsibilities:
- Represent juveniles in court as both court-appointed and privately
- Handle other criminal defense cases as needed, including adult misdemeanors, writs and appeals
- Conduct legal research and writing
- Communicate with clients, courts, and other parties involved in the case
- Attend court hearings and trials
- Negotiate plea bargains and settlements on behalf of clients
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations related to criminal defense

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in California
- Strong knowledge of criminal law and procedures
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and handle a high caseload
- Experience in juvenile cases preferred
