Position Summary:

- Seeking a strategic and creative federal tax professional with experience in multiple jurisdictions and countries
- Responsible for federal tax compliance and consulting services for large global and dynamic midsize banking and securities clients
- Opportunity to work with a diverse team of specialists and strong support from firm leadership
- Located in 22 cities across the country

What You'll Do:

- Provide federal tax consulting and compliance services to clients in the banking and financial services industries
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Advise clients on a variety of tax issues, including accounting for income taxes, tax compliance, and tax controversy
- Oversee complex federal tax compliance and consulting projects

The Team:

- Business Tax Services team at Deloitte Tax LLP
- Dynamic team with professionals of varying backgrounds
- Integrates tax strategy into clients' business operations while considering individual risk profiles
- Offers a spectrum of business tax services for public and private companies

Qualifications:

Required:

- Ability to work in a hybrid model, co-locating in person 2-3 days per week
- Willingness to travel up to 25% based on client and industry needs
- Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office or licensed attorney/enrolled agent
- 5+ years of corporate tax experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Strong managerial experience and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities

Preferred:

- Advanced degree such as Masters of Tax, JD, and/or LLM
- Previous experience at a Big 4 or large CPA firm
- Experience in banking, securities, and/or capital markets

Salary Information:

- Wage range of $84,980 to $193,440, taking into account various factors such as skill sets, experience, and certifications
- Eligible for participation in a discretionary annual incentive program
