Overview:
Grant Thornton is seeking a Tax Associate to join their team in Winter 2025. As a Tax Associate, you will be responsible for tax consulting and tax return preparation for a variety of entities and industries. This is a great opportunity to gain experience and grow within the firm's Federal Corporate and Partnership solution families, State and Local Tax, International Tax, and Private Wealth Service lines.

Responsibilities:
- Review data input and resolve technical tax issues
- Prepare tax returns and work papers
- Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities
- Conduct tax research and provide information to senior staff members
- Train junior staff members
- Collaborate with client team members and build strong client relationships
- Work on other assigned projects

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Juris Doctorate, or Tax LLM
- Minimum GPA of preferred
- Completion of necessary education hours for CPA licensure or licensed attorney status
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong technical aptitude and project management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Willingness to work additional hours and travel to client sites
- Ability to travel on short notice
