Job Description:
- Provide Know Your Rights presentations and legal screenings for children detained in ORR facilities
- Represent clients in immigration proceedings before the Immigration Court, Board of Immigration Appeals, and . Citizenship and Immigration Services
- Handle cases related to Special Immigrant Juvenile, asylum, VAWA, T and U visa
- Conduct legal screenings and provide advice to unaccompanied minors
- Comply with program reporting requirements

Qualifications:
- Florida Bar membership
- Experience in immigration law, family and juvenile law preferred
- Experience working with domestic violence victims and/or trauma victims
- Strong writing, research, and communication skills
- Interest in policy advocacy
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Enthusiastic and committed to diversity and inclusion
- Experience with immigration and/or child dependency legal clinics in law school a plus
- Experience working with children a plus
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, speakers of Mayan languages encouraged to apply
- Must have own transportation
- Willing to undergo extensive background check
