Washington, DC office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an employment litigation associate attorney with 3-6 years of experience. The candidate will be working as part of a team handling litigation matters from start to finish, including responding to pleadings, managing discovery, taking depositions, arguing motions, and participating in mediation. Will work with clients on various challenges under state and federal employment laws, drafting & revising policies, training, and similar activities. Must be admitted in DC and Maryland or eligible to waive-in; Virginia admission is a plus. Should preferably be a case handling attorney with significant experience in federal court. Must be comfortable drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, drafting and arguing motions, as well as taking and defending depositions. Should have excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, a desire for excellence, commitment to and empathy for fellow team members, and a relentless commitment to growth and client service. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
