The role entails providing comprehensive assessments and advocacy for clients during legal collection processes, ensuring quality work in a fast-paced environment, communicating with opposing parties, drafting legal documents, and handling all aspects of litigation. Candidates must maintain client relationships and stay updated on legal changes through continuing education.

Job Duties:

• Provide thorough assessments and practical advice during the legal collection process.
• Communicate with opposing counsel and pro se parties to negotiate resolutions.
• Draft and review legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Document account/file activity according to firm and client policies.
• Travel to various courts in the state and manage all aspects of case litigation.
• Research laws, rulings, and regulations and formulate legal opinions.
• Maintain responsive communication with clients to develop and maintain relationships.
• Attend continuing education classes to stay informed of legal changes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in the state.
• Experience in consumer collection litigation preferred.
• Knowledge of civil litigation process and state and federal consumer protection laws.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
