Summary:

We are seeking a self-motivated and dynamic Associate Attorney to join our premier local government law firm in Colorado. Our firm exclusively represents special districts, municipalities, and other forms of local government, with a focus on the well-being of the community. Our ideal candidate will have 2-8 years of experience in municipal law, special districts, or general counsel roles, but we will also consider other relevant experience. This position offers a competitive salary range of $130,000 to $170,000, depending on experience, as well as various bonuses, benefits, and work-life balance opportunities.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct legal research and draft documents related to our practice areas
- Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and other attorneys
- Utilize computer skills to manage documents and interact with colleagues and clients
- Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to provide legal advice and solutions
- Meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail
- Utilize analytical skills to gather and analyze information and make recommendations

Requirements:

- Licensed attorney in good standing in the State of Colorado
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- 2-8 years of experience in municipal law, special districts, or general counsel roles (or comparable experience)
- Availability for evening meetings and travel within Colorado
