As an Assistant General Counsel on our legal team, you will have the opportunity to learn, grow, and make an impact while also having the flexibility to balance your personal and professional life.

In this role, you will provide high quality and responsive legal advice to our Global Payments Solutions (GPS) team. This includes negotiating client contracts, structuring new products and services, and modifying existing products and services. You will also work closely with our GPS contract management team, advise on Liquidity & Receivable product issues, and provide guidance on digital products and services related to cash management.

As a key member of our legal team, you will also lead large projects and global initiatives to support complex products. Your responsibilities will include negotiating and drafting client documents, reviewing third party contracts, revising form templates, and coordinating with subject matter experts to provide cohesive legal advice to our client teams. You will also act as a strategic partner to the business and advise on marketing materials and communications.

Required Skills:

- 4-12 years of experience in a law firm or as internal counsel in the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of banking laws and regulations related to payments, liquidity, receivables, and cash management services.

- Active bar membership in good standing.

Desired Skills:

- Experience in payments, liquidity, and/or receivables.

- Significant contract negotiation experience, preferably in the cash management industry.

- Project management experience.

- Background in credit negotiations.

- Expertise in privacy, sanctions, ERISA, and/or healthcare is a plus.

- Strong work ethic and ability to manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well as part of a team.

- Strong organizational, drafting, and negotiation skills.
