Law Firm Seeks Experienced Associate Attorney for Medical Malpractice Litigation Team

Responsibilities:

- Conduct legal research and investigations in a variety of medical negligence cases
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
- Analyze and summarize medical records and other documentation
- Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
- Work with shareholders, associates, paralegals, and professional staff
- Appear in federal and state courts for proceedings
- Interview and depose parties, witnesses, and experts
- Participate in firm activities and events

Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience in medical malpractice cases
- Strong legal research, drafting, and advocacy skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to empathize with clients
- Familiarity with medical terminology, records, and procedures
- Organizational skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of legal software programs preferred

Work Schedule and Benefits:

- Full-time, exempt position with business hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday
- Background check may be required
