A law firm in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking an Estate Associate Attorney with strong interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal candidate should be a licensed Ohio attorney with 1-3 years of experience, preferably in estate planning, trust administration, and/or probate.

 

Duties:

  • Assist clients with estate planning, including drafting wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
  • Handle trust administration, including asset transfers, beneficiary distributions, and tax filings.
  • Represent clients in probate proceedings, including estate administration and litigation.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on matters related to estates and trusts.
  • Conduct legal research on estate planning and probate issues.
  • Draft legal documents, including petitions, pleadings, and estate plans.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Attend court hearings and meetings on behalf of clients as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files and client records.

 

Requirements:

  • Licensed Ohio attorney.
  • 1-3 years of experience, preferably in estate planning, trust administration, and/or probate.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed attorney in Ohio.

 

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
