The successful candidate will have: - Extensive experience with litigating a wide range of Trusts and Estates (T&E) disputes - Experience in challenging and defending the validity of wills and trusts - Experience in seeking and defending fiduciary removal, breach of fiduciary duty claims, elder financial abuse claims, conservatorships, and other contested and uncontested matters involving the administration of trusts and estates - Experience with Alternative Dispute Resolution including mediation and arbitration - Proven experience in probate, trust, and conservatorship administration and litigation - Representing beneficiaries, executors, corporate, and individual trustees, as well as licensed professional fiduciaries - Designing and implementing sophisticated estate, valuation, and philanthropic planning techniques - Integrating clients’ business succession planning and retirement planning - Strong legal analysis and writing skills Law Firm is offering a competitive salary range of $160,000-$185,000, commensurate with experience, for this role. Trusts & Estates Litigation Associate – Sacramento Law Firm is seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates Litigation Associate in Sacramento with 4th to 6th year experience. This Litigation Associate will join Law Firm’s successful Trusts & Estates (T&E) Group and focus on clients’ personal concerns, as well as their estate planning, tax, and litigation goals.
