Responsibilities:

- Work with the Health Law Practice Group on various health care matters
- Handle legal issues related to Stark, Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid billing and reimbursement, medical staff matters, physician contracting, clinical trials, compliance issues for healthcare providers, hospital/physician alignment, provider enrollment / licensing, and transactional health law issues
- Provide legal counsel and advice to hospitals and healthcare providers
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations
- Draft legal documents and contracts
- Communicate with clients and represent them in negotiations and legal proceedings
- Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm

Qualifications:

- in health care matters
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Stark, Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid billing and reimbursement, medical staff matters, physician contracting, clinical trials, compliance issues for healthcare providers, hospital/physician alignment, provider enrollment / licensing, transactional health law issues
- Hospital counsel experience preferred
- Strong academic credentials, including a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
