BakerHostetler, a globally recognized law firm, is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced associate to join its top-ranked Digital Assets and Data Management (DADM) Group. This is a junior to mid-level position, with a required minimum of 3-6 years of experience. As a member of the DADM Group's Privacy and Digital Risk Class Action and Litigation Team, the candidate will have the opportunity to work with some of the largest and most well-known companies in a variety of industries.

Job Title: Associate - Digital Assets and Data Management
Experience: 3-6 years
Salary: Expected annual salary of $205K - $225K, plus bonus potential
Location: Denver, CO (with other locations available)

H2: Qualifications and Responsibilities

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in litigation, with a demonstrated interest in privacy-related litigation and class action defense. Experience in privacy litigation and/or class action litigation is preferred, and experience with state and federal laws such as BIPA, FCRA, and FACTA is a plus. Candidates should also have a strong academic record, with a . from a nationally recognized and accredited school. Admission to practice law in the state of Colorado is required.

Responsibilities for this position include handling all aspects of privacy- and data security-related litigation, with a focus on class action defense following a data security incident. The successful candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, strong project management skills, and an understanding of consumer class actions and dismissal strategies. Effective writing and oral communication skills are also essential, and prior experience with research and writing through law review or other comparable experience is a plus. The ability to handle a fast-paced and complex workload while maintaining priorities and anticipating issues is crucial. Additionally, the candidate must have the professional commitment and interpersonal skills necessary to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
