# Senior Family Law Attorney

Are you an experienced Family Law Attorney looking for a rewarding opportunity to help people get out of a toxic marriage? If so, a well-established Law Firm is looking for a Senior Family Law Attorney to join their team and work directly with the owner and other attorneys. ## Responsibilities

The Senior Family Law Attorney will be responsible for:

- Working directly with clients to start their divorce and move them through the court system as quickly as possible. This includes reaching out to clients to gather factual information and determine what they need to protect their rights and prosecute their case efficiently.
- Preparing the standard family law documents, propounding, and responding to discovery, conducting and defending depositions, and preparing to take a client’s case to trial if necessary.
- Managing large caseloads.
- Making independent decision making on a case-by-case basis.
- Consulting with clients and other parties as needed.
- Developing a strategic approach and providing leadership and direction to paralegals and legal assistants.
- Cultivating relationships with the firm’s existing and future clients.
- Conducting monthly case reviews.
- Building client cases and ensuring all communication is documented and relayed to the client.

## Requirements

- 7+ years of Family Law experience as an attorney.
- Ability to work for 40 hours per week.
- Ability to take initiative and complete tasks with minimal hand holding.

## Salary and Benefits

The Senior Family Law Attorney position offers competitive salary between $160,000-180,000. There may also be opportunities for bonus compensation for those who demonstrate their profitability. After a probationary period, additional benefits such as health insurance, 401k, and paid time off will become available.
