# Entry Level Associate Attorney at The Matian Firm, APC

The Matian Firm, APC is currently seeking an admitted attorney for an extremely promising Entry Level Associate Attorney - Post Conviction Relief position. This is a great opportunity for an Associate Attorney to gain valuable experience in both criminal and immigration law and further their career with an established law firm in the Rancho Cucamonga area.

## Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Associate Attorney - Post Conviction Relief will include:

* Advising clients on their legal rights in matters and drawing up legal documents
* Managing post conviction relief cases, including motions to vacate, expungements, motions to reduce, early termination of probation, etc.
* Experience with immigration law is highly desirable, but not required
* Attending motion hearings on behalf of clients and advising them of best strategies following each hearing
* Handling open criminal cases including arraignments, pre-trials, pleas and sentencing on behalf of other criminal attorneys within the firm
* Managing court appearances, drafting motions, interviewing clients and performing legal research
* Analyzing probable outcomes of cases using knowledge of legal precedents
* Managing workload of cases
* Providing legal analysis for clients to determine any possible case benefits

## Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:

* Criminal Defense Experience or Immigration Law Experience preferred, but not required
* Candidates with PCR experience as a clerk or intern will be heavily considered
* A team player who is open to helping, strategizing, and working with fellow associates
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred, but not required
* Interpersonal skills of the highest caliber

## Salary

The salary for this position will range from $75,000 to $100,000 annually. The Matian Firm, APC offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan. Some additional perks include catered lunches, complimentary parking, paid time off, and more!
