Job Title: Tax Senior Manager- Family Office Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience working in public accounting with an emphasis on private client taxation including working with family offices and multi-generational families Location: Varies depending on office location Company: RSM Department: Family Office Enterprise Full-time position Purpose: To provide tax services and advice to ultra-high net worth families and their family offices, with a focus on strategic tax planning, business advisory, and compliance work. Key Responsibilities: - Advise family office and multi-generational families on a full spectrum of tax services including structuring and modeling, succession planning, wealth transfer planning and tax compliance - Lead the engagement team focused on entity, individual, fiduciary and gift/estate taxation, ensuring that client tax engagements exceed expectations and meet profitability thresholds - Collaborate with colleagues in specialty tax areas and across lines of business to anticipate client needs and support growth - Participate in prospective client proposals and actively build new client relationships - Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients, centers of influence, and other RSM promoters through networking, thought leadership, and community involvement - Participate in local and national committees to build technical expertise and strategic plans - Demonstrate alignment with RSM's core values, vision, and strategy while empowering people to work together in meaningful and productive ways across the firm as an enterprise leader Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field - CPA license, licensed ., or enrolled agent (with approval from regional tax leader) - Minimum of 8 years of experience working in public accounting with a focus on private client taxation and experience in leading all aspects of client engagements and driving growth - Proficient in at least one area: entity or individual and fiduciary taxation with an understanding of complex investments and the related tax implications - Familiar with multi-state taxation - Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to lead collaborative teams and manage a book of business that exceeds client expectations Preferred Qualifications: - . in Taxation and/or Master's in Taxation - Experience with gift and estate taxation At RSM, we value our employees and offer a competitive benefits and compensation package.
