Job Title: Supervising Housing Attorney
Organization: Communities Resist (CoRe)
Location: Brooklyn/Queens
Salary: $86,000 - $125,000
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in housing litigation (5 years preferred)

H1: Join Our Team as a Supervising Housing Attorney in Brooklyn/Queens
H2: Fight Gentrification and Displacement with CoRe

- Supervise and mentor a team of attorneys in housing cases
- Represent tenants and tenant associations in housing court
- Litigate fair housing claims before federal, state, and city courts
- Maintain a personal caseload of complex litigation matters
- Collaborate with community partners and lead education events on housing issues
- Manage and assist with training new and continuing staff attorneys
- Demonstrate cultural competence and effective communication with diverse backgrounds
- Excellent legal writing, litigation, and advocacy skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Computer proficiency and willingness to attend evening meetings and events
- Second language ability and previous experience in housing litigation viewed favorably
