This is a permanent placement, graduate opportunity. The salary for this position is $22,219. As a Tax Associate at Company, you will be a value architect delivering tax advisory and compliance services to clients. You will have the opportunity to: * Provide tax compliance and advisory services to S-corporations, partnerships, individuals and corporations ranging from middle market to multinational companies * Participate in tax research projects on a variety of tax issues, help to draft IRS responses and address other tax authority inquiries * Team with leaders on special projects in various areas of corporate and flow through taxation such as accounting methods and ASC740 * Develop recommendations for the client to consider and share with leadership to discuss and strategize * Communicate and team with specialty tax practices on complicated tax matters in the state and local, high net worth, international, research and development along with credits and incentives areas * Learn and grow from direct on-the-job coaching and mentoring along with participating in firm wide learning and development programs * Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients * Build friendships and strong work relationships while gaining valuable experience ## Qualifications Successful candidates will have: * Bachelor’s or master's degree in accounting or law, or a related degree in business, with sufficient course work and credits to sit for the CPA and/or Bar exam in the state they are being considered * Outstanding academic performance required, with a preferred GPA of or above * Relevant internship, work experience and/or involvement with a professional organization * The ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of client personnel * Demonstrated skills in the areas of time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving * Organizational and analytical skills, initiative, adaptability * Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) There is currently no immigration sponsorship available for this position.
