They are looking to fill this position in multiple locations including Columbus (Polk Co., NC), Marion (McDowell Co., NC), Lincolnton (Lincoln Co., NC), Waynesville, (Haywood Co., NC), Charlotte (Mecklenburg) and Brevard (Transylvania Co., NC). ### Job Description The Senior Associate/Junior Partner will be responsible for representing clients in various criminal law matters, including but not limited to domestic violence, assault, drug charges, juvenile crimes, white collar crimes, and misdemeanor offenses. They will manage a caseload with minimal supervision, ensuring deadlines are met and providing regular updates to clients. Additionally, they will conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, engage in negotiation and mediation efforts to resolve disputes amicably, collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure seamless case management, and participate in business development initiatives, including networking events and client meetings. ### Requirements To be considered for this role, candidates must have a . from an accredited law school and be an active member in good standing with a state bar association. Additionally, they must have 2-10 years of experience practicing family law, excellent analytical, research, and writing skills, strong negotiation and mediation skills, the ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload, and a commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and client confidentiality. Experience in business development and networking activities is a plus. ### Salary & Benefits King Law Offices PC offers a competitive salary and benefits package, commensurate with experience, ranging from $80,000 - $120,000.
