Tax Senior Manager - Banking & Capital Markets The Tax Senior Manager will provide tax services for clients in the Banking & Capital Markets industry. This role will involve working with domestic and international banking clients on a variety of tax issues and providing technical expertise in areas such as FAS 109, FIN 48, tax provision preparation, and corporate and partnership tax compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting, internal domestic or foreign banking tax departments, and a CPA or Bar membership. This is a full-time position with up to 20% travel required. Responsibilities: Provide tax services for clients in the Banking & Capital Markets industry. Work with domestic and international banking clients on various tax issues. Provide technical expertise in areas such as FAS 109, FIN 48, tax provision preparation, and corporate and partnership tax compliance. Build and maintain relationships with clients and actively seek out new business opportunities. Manage resources, project budgets, and billing for client engagements. Supervise and coach team members to create a collaborative and innovative work environment. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in tax laws and regulations. Utilize technology and data analytics to optimize client engagements and provide valuable insights. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax services, preferably in the banking industry. CPA or Bar membership required. Intimate knowledge of tax issues affecting the domestic and/or international banking industries. Familiarity with public accounting practices and/or internal banking tax departments. Strong technical skills in FAS 109, FIN 48, tax provision preparation, and corporate and partnership tax compliance. Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. Ability to navigate complex and diverse teams and engagements. Familiarity with CRM systems and advanced pricing strategies. Passion for innovation and utilizing technology to improve client services. Eligible to work in the US without requiring sponsorship through the H-1B lottery.
