Job Description:

Clyde & Co is seeking a highly experienced Senior Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney to join our Southwest regional practice. This position is open to candidates with 10+ years of insurance coverage experience and is located in either Santa Fe or Albuquerque, New Mexico.

In this role, the Senior Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney will be responsible for handling complex insurance coverage matters involving both property and liability insurance, including CGL, professional liability, inland marine, construction defects, and directors' and officers' liability. The attorney will represent insurers in coverage and bad faith litigation in federal and state courts throughout the Southwest.

Responsibilities include drafting pleadings and briefs, preparing and responding to written discovery, analyzing insurance policies, conducting legal research, attending and conducting depositions, hearings, and mediations, and providing recommendations to clients.

The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills, strong research and analytical abilities, and the ability to work independently. Admitted to practice and resident in New Mexico, additional admission(s) in other states is a plus. The candidate must also have a solid work history and excellent academic credentials.
