Job Overview: A law firm seeks a highly skilled Senior-Level Elder Law Attorney to join their team in Worcester, MA. Responsibilities:

  • Make presentations to groups of elders at senior centers and other venues.
  • Prepare and file applications for MassHealth and other government benefit programs for elders.
  • Handle asset restructuring and related issues.
  • Prepare estate planning documents and other asset protection documents as needed.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar in good standing.
  • Experience practicing elder law.
  • Proven experience in making presentations to groups, particularly seniors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Certifications:

  • Certification in Elder Law is preferred.

  • Proficiency in elder law principles and regulations.
  • Exceptional presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of MassHealth and other government benefit programs for elders.
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound advice.
