About the Role

As the Head of Corporate Legal, you will be the lead counsel for all corporate matters and report directly to the General Counsel. You will ensure compliance with securities laws, provide legal oversight for quarterly earnings and investor relations, advise the Board of Directors and committees on corporate governance, oversee financing and strategic transactions, and support management of subsidiary entities. You will also provide general advice and counsel to leaders in various departments within DoorDash. In addition, you will lead a small but dedicated corporate team.

Responsibilities Include:

- Ensuring compliance with securities laws, rules, and regulations
- Providing legal oversight for quarterly earnings and investor relations
- Advising on all shareholder related matters
- Advising the Board of Directors and committees on corporate governance best practices
- Overseeing financing and strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions
- Supporting management of subsidiary entities
- Providing general advice and counsel to leaders in DoorDash's Finance, Accounting, Tax, Insurance, and Investor Relations teams
- Leading a small (but mighty!) corporate team

Qualifications:

- 15+ years of experience as a corporate securities or corporate transactions attorney (public company in-house experience preferred)
- Commitment to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to synthesize and present complex ideas in a simple and understandable manner

For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the base salary is localized according to employee work location.
