Responsibilities and Requirements

As an associate attorney with our Litigation & Dispute Resolution team, you will be responsible for handling a variety of state and federal litigation matters and/or administrative law cases. The ideal candidate will have superior research and writing skills, the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a strong understanding of federal and state court procedures. A prior federal or state court clerkship is preferred but not required. Maine bar membership is required for this position.

Position Overview: Associate Attorney – Litigation

As an associate attorney with our Litigation & Dispute Resolution team, you will play a key role in representing our clients in various state and federal litigation matters and/or administrative law cases. Your responsibilities will include conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and briefs, appearing in court, and managing cases from start to finish. You will also have the opportunity to work on a wide range of legal issues and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in state and federal litigation matters and/or administrative law
Superior research and writing skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Prior federal or state court clerkship preferred but not required
Maine bar membership required
