Job Overview: A law firm in Washington, DC is seeking a Mid-Level Financial Services Regulatory Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching, advising, and preparing memoranda and opinions on Financial Services Regulation (FSR) matters, negotiating and drafting commercial agreements, and coordinating with various teams to provide expertise in transactional and enforcement matters.

Duties:

  • Research, advise, and prepare memoranda and opinions on FSR matters
  • Negotiate and draft commercial agreements, terms of service, policies, and procedures
  • Coordinate with capital markets, M&A, finance, litigation, and other teams on FSR matters
  • Collaborate with colleagues as a team on FSR matters for clients
  • Contribute actively to FSR team meetings and initiatives
  • Participate in business development initiatives, including client pitches
  • Assist in writing client alerts and articles on FSR matters
  • Attend CLE and other relevant programs to enhance expertise
  • Develop and present programs for the debt finance team on FSR issues
