Overview:

- Iowa Legal Aid is seeking an attorney to join our Waterloo Community Schools Project.
- The Staff Attorney will have the opportunity to provide a broad range of direct legal services through our school-based clinic in Waterloo.
- The Waterloo Community Schools Project is an innovative partnership between Iowa Legal Aid, Waterloo Public Schools, and other stakeholders, designed to alleviate the challenges faced by children living in poverty.
- The cornerstone of the project is an onsite legal aid clinic in a Waterloo elementary school.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for helping develop and maintain the school-based legal clinic and assist in building the project to full scale.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate with school staff and existing and future project partners.
- Coordinate legal, social work, and volunteer activities.
- Provide ,014, depending on years of experience.
