As a Special Education Attorney at OMLO, you will have the opportunity to work with school districts and represent clients in various legal matters related to special education and student services.

Responsibilities:
- Attend IEP meetings on behalf of clients
- Handle discipline law cases
- Experience with due process complaints
- Conduct thorough research and analysis
- Draft legal documents and correspondence
- Communicate with clients and other parties involved in the case
- Work independently and collaboratively as needed
- Take initiative, problem solve, and follow through on projects

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to the State Bar of California
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Special Education law
- Knowledge of federal and state laws related to special education and student services
- Excellent research, writing, and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle a high volume of cases and meet deadlines
- Experience representing clients in client-facing roles is preferred
