Job Overview:

The Litigation Associate Attorney will primarily handle cases related to gaming regulatory matters. The candidate must be proficient in drafting and arguing discovery motions, as well as taking and defending depositions. Strong oral and written advocacy skills are essential, along with the ability to manage cases effectively and take the lead as necessary. Admission to practice law in at least one state is required.

 

Duties:

  • Draft and argue discovery motions related to gaming regulatory cases.
  • Take and defend depositions in litigation proceedings.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Prepare legal documents, including briefs, memoranda, and pleadings.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Manage case deadlines, filings, and other administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Assist senior attorneys in case preparation and strategy development.
  • Attend hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings as required.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in at least one state.
  • 3+ years of experience representing clients in the gaming industry.
  • Prior experience in a mid-size to large law firm setting preferred.
  • Background in gaming regulatory matters is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of drafting and arguing discovery motions.
  • Strong oral and written advocacy skills with excellent academic credentials.
  • Ability to manage cases independently and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with case management software and legal research tools.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
