Job Description:

- Provide legal counsel and support for Takeda's Plasma-Derived Therapies Business Unit
- Work closely with business leaders and external partners to achieve PDT's goals
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks and opportunities
- Support Global PDT with a focus on R&D and US BioLife Plasma Services operations
- Report to Lead Counsel for US BioLife and PDT R&D
- Advise on strategic initiatives and provide management of litigation and disputes
- Review materials developed by various teams within Takeda
- Collaborate with key functions such as Compliance, Privacy, Business Development, and IP
- Possess a global, values-driven perspective and demonstrate agility in leadership
- Possess a willingness to learn about all areas of law, particularly in the plasma industry
- 5-10% travel may be required

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

- Law degree and qualified to practice and in good standing in at least one jurisdiction
- 5+ years of relevant legal experience
- Familiarity with general antitrust laws and experience analyzing regulations
- Experience with the promotion of pharmaceutical products and relevant laws
- Experience in dispute and litigation management
- Possess a high level of commitment to Takeda's values and strong strategic acumen, collegiality, emotional intelligence, and communication skills
- 5-10% travel may be required

Compensation and Benefits Summary:

- Estimated salary range for this position: $169, - $266,
- Actual base salary offered may depend on various factors, including qualifications and location
