Insurance Coverage and Coverage Litigation Attorney

Clyde & Co US LLP is looking for an experienced attorney with at least 4 years of insurance coverage and coverage litigation experience to join the practice in California. The ideal candidate will have the expertise and skills necessary to competently handle all aspects of litigation from the initial responsive pleading through trial.

Responsibilities:

- Taking depositions, arguing motions, and attending court hearings and mediations as required
- Drafting motions, pleadings, briefs, discovery requests and interrogatories, and other legal correspondence and litigation documents
- Preparing coverage opinions
- Conducting complex and rigorous legal research and analysis, and drafting memoranda
- Preparing status reports and recommendations to clients
- Reviewing document collections in preparation for litigation
- Working on all aspects of litigation, from the initial responsive pleading through trial.

Education and Experience:

- Excellent academic credentials and work history

- Superior writing, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle matters of a highly sensitive nature
- Ability to handle time sensitive matters, sometimes several simultaneously

This position is open to attorneys located in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Francisco, but we are open to other locations for the right candidate. The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $190,000.
