A law firm is seeking a Business Litigation Associate Attorney for their Minneapolis office.

Job Overview:

The Business Litigation Associate Attorney will handle complex business litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, preparing discovery responses, collecting documents, and drafting motions. Strong research and writing skills are essential for success in this role. Additional experience in taking and defending depositions, arbitrations, trials, or appellate work is beneficial. Candidates with former federal judicial clerkship experience will be highly valued.

Duties:

• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
• Collect and analyze documents
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Assist with depositions, arbitrations, trials, and appellate work
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
• Collaborate with team members on case strategy

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of complex litigation experience
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent research and writing skills
• Experience in drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
• Additional experience in depositions, arbitrations, trials, or appellate work preferred
• Former federal judicial clerkship experience is highly valued

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar in the relevant jurisdiction
