Job Title: Mid-Level Complex Litigation Attorney

  • Handle cases from inception through trial, including drafting discovery pleadings and motions and taking and defending depositions.

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as Westlaw.
  • Manage the discovery process and supervise junior attorneys and staff with document review projects.
  • Participate in the firm’s professional activities, including client intake and trial preparation.
  • First or second chair trial experience required.
  • Argue discovery and dispositive motions.
  • Interview clients and witnesses.
  • Handle sensitive matters on a confidential basis.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of litigation experience in state and federal courts.
  • Bachelor’s degree and . Degree.
  • Strong record of academic achievement.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of state and federal court procedures.
  • Significant courtroom experience.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters on a confidential basis.
  • Licensed to practice and in good standing in at least one of the following states: MA, RI, NY, TN, NS, SC, or FL.
  • A high degree of initiative, mature judgment, and discretion.
  • Organization and time management skills.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Bar in at least one of the following states: MA, RI, NY, TN, NS, SC, or FL.
