Summary:
TikTok, the leading destination for short-form mobile video, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Privacy Counsel to join their Global Privacy & Regulatory Affairs team in New York. This regular, full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $170,666 - $240,000 annually, with additional bonuses and stock options. The ideal candidate will have a . degree from an ABA accredited law school, 5+ years of legal experience, and 3+ years in privacy law.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategy for handling regulatory and privacy inquiries and investigations
- Conduct research and prepare responses for regulatory inquiries and investigations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop privacy and regulatory strategies
- Provide guidance and support on privacy litigation matters
- Collaborate with public policy and communications teams on top privacy issues
- Develop and implement privacy policies and processes
- Work with cross-functional, cross-regional stakeholders on critical privacy and security projects

Qualifications:
- . degree from an ABA accredited law school with membership in good standing in a US state bar
- 5+ years of legal experience, including at a law firm or in-house
- 3+ years of privacy legal experience, with a strong understanding of privacy regulatory matters
- High motivation and proactive work ethic
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience and proficiency with technology
