The Role:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and sustaining client relationships, as well as a deep understanding of tax regulations and industry trends in the financial institutions sector. Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain strong business relationships to attract new clients and expand services to existing clients
- Lead and innovate in the financial institutions industry, staying current with tax changes and providing thought leadership
- Oversee client engagements to ensure tax compliance, provide alternative strategies, and capitalize on tax credit opportunities
- Build and manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and employee engagement
- Collaborate with other firm leaders to drive revenue growth and provide exceptional service to clients
- Optimize financial performance through budget management, process improvements, and resource allocation

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting (master's or advanced degree preferred)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Juris Doctor (JD) required
- 12+ years of progressive tax experience, including financial institutions clients in a professional services firm
- 5+ years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates
- Strong organizational skills and strategic planning abilities
- Ability to cross-sell firm services while adhering to independence standards
