Senior Intellectual Property Litigation Associate - Join a Global Law Firm with Opportunities for Growth and Impactful Work

K&L Gates, a fully integrated global law firm with offices in Austin, Charlotte, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Pittsburgh, and Seattle, is seeking a Senior Intellectual Property Litigation Associate to join our Chicago office or another K&L Gates office. We are looking for smart, imaginative, and hard-working individuals with at least six years of experience in IP litigation, preferably with trial experience, and a technical background in software, computer science, electrical, or mechanical areas. Candidates should have experience conducting research, drafting substantive pleadings and motions, managing discovery, and interfacing with clients.

Responsibilities:
- Independently conduct research and draft substantive pleadings and motions
- Manage and organize discovery practice
- Participate in hearings and depositions
- Interact directly with clients
- Work closely with experienced lawyers for active mentoring and opportunities for increased responsibility and client ,000 per year
- Determined during interview process
- Varies based on prior experience, relevant expertise, current business factors, and market factors
