Deloitte, a leading professional services firm, is seeking a Tax Senior Manager to join their Private Wealth Tax Team. This role is available in 29 locations across the country and offers a unique opportunity to lead and strategize in multiple areas of taxation. If you have extensive knowledge in individual, fiduciary, partnership, closely-held corporations, estate, and gift tax, and are excited about complex tax issues, this could be the perfect career opportunity for you.

As a Tax Senior Manager, you will have the chance to work with ultra-affluent clients, including families with multigenerational wealth, entrepreneurs, family offices, and closely-held business owners. You will provide comprehensive, independent, and objective wealth transfer planning advice, and help clients make informed decisions related to their personal financial comfort, business and investment needs, family legacy, and charitable giving.

In this role, you will perform high-level reviews of tax research and returns, lead client meetings, and train, mentor, and supervise new and experienced Tax Consultants and Tax Seniors. You will also be involved in marketplace eminence building and pursuits, and have the opportunity to take on lead client-contact roles and billing and profitability analysis on engagements.

To be considered for this role, you must have at least 8 years of public accounting experience (with at least 3 years in investment management) or equivalent in law firms or industry. You must also hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and have an active accreditation such as CPA, attorney, enrolled agent, CFA, or CFP. Experience with partnership and/or trust documents and project management is preferred, as well as the ability to travel up to 25% for client engagements. Advanced degree and prior Big 4 experience are a plus.
