Overview:

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the role of Supervisory Attorney Advisor. As a member of the senior leadership team, the incumbent will serve as Deputy District Director and share responsibility for the overall operations of the EEOC District. This position primarily involves supervising and coordinating the enforcement functions of the District Office through subordinate supervisors.

Key Duties:

- Plan, direct, and coordinate the work of subordinate supervisors engaged in investigative and enforcement functions
- Oversee the Charge Receipt/Technical Information Unit, which provides administrative and technical support to the enforcement units
- Supervise the Enforcement Units, which conduct detailed and comprehensive investigations of charges of employment discrimination
- Oversee the Systemic Function, which reviews and recommends appropriate subjects for in-depth investigation of alleged pattern and practice employment discrimination
- Provide oversight of negotiated settlements and conciliation agreements
- Handle noncompliance as appropriate

Requirements:

- Must be a . Citizen or National
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service
- Must be suitable for Federal employment, determined by a background investigation
- Must have an active BAR membership in good standing
- Must maintain active bar membership in good standing while employed as an attorney with EEOC

- Must have four (4) years of professional legal experience, with at least one year being equivalent to the GS-14 level
