Job Title: Litigation Counsel

Location: Must reside within commutable distance to one of our FL offices

Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent / Onsite 4 days a week minimum

Overview:

Responsibilities:

- Supervise and manage pre-litigation, Chapter 558, and litigation matters
- Coordinate with and advise the General Counsel on legal matters
- Support day-to-day case management
- Assist with customer care and warranty legal issues
- Handle regulatory agency complaints
- Represent Mattamy Homes in interactions and disputes with customers, contractors, vendors, and suppliers
- Review and draft various legal agreements and documentation

Requirements:

- . degree from an accredited . law school
- Active license to practice law in FL
- 5-10 years of experience in commercial and construction litigation
- Proficient knowledge of legal issues specific to the homebuilding, land development, and construction industry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and provide timely, strategic legal advice
- Strong work ethic and commitment to professionalism and integrity
- Willingness to travel within Florida and potentially internationally
