The Assistant General Counsel - Global Payments, Liquidity & Receivables Attorney will be responsible for providing high quality and responsive legal advice to the Global Payments Solutions (GPS) team. This role will primarily involve negotiating commercial client contracts, structuring new products and services, and modifying existing products and services. The successful candidate will also act as a strategic partner to the business and lead large projects to support complex products and global and regional initiatives.

Assistant General Counsel - Global Payments, Liquidity & Receivables Attorney

Experience Information:

The ideal candidate for this position should have 4-12 years of law firm and/or internal counsel experience in the financial services industry. They should also have experience negotiating contracts related to cash management business and a solid understanding of banking laws, regulations, and rules impacting payments, liquidity, receivables, and cash management services. Additionally, active bar membership in good standing is required.

Responsibilities:

- Negotiating and drafting client documents
- Reviewing and advising on third party contracts
- Coordinating outside counsel involvement on new products and services
- Revising form templates
- Coordinating large projects for cash management products and services
- Reviewing and advising on marketing materials and disclaimers
- Liaising with subject matter experts to provide cohesive legal advice
- Acting as a strategic partner to the business
