As a Tax Supervisor in the Financial Services practice at RSM, you will have the opportunity to work with complex clients in the Capital Markets industry and provide tax compliance and consulting services. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and analyzing partnership and corporate tax returns, managing client relationships, training and developing team members, and staying up-to-date on current tax practices and laws. Responsibilities:

- Review and analyze complex partnership and corporate tax returns for Capital Markets clients
- Communicate with clients in a non-technical manner to facilitate understanding and manage risk
- Interact directly with clients to address questions, concerns, and planning needs
- Train and develop staff members and interns
- Conduct and document research on specific tax issues
- Stay up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- 4+ years of experience in business taxation at a Big 4 or large accounting firm, or equivalent experience in industry or with a law firm
- Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam, EA, or licensed JD
- Prior experience serving Capital Markets clients in tax compliance and consulting
- Knowledge of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and gather necessary information for tax services

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's Degree in Accounting, Taxation, or MBA
- Experience preparing and reviewing accounting for income taxes in accordance with ASC 740
