Duties:

  • Engage in drafting and negotiating various legal documents related to project finance transactions.
  • Collaborate with partners and clients to structure, negotiate, and execute financing arrangements.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support transactional activities.
  • Assist in due diligence processes and risk assessment for financing transactions.
  • Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients on project finance matters.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and records of all transactions.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of substantial transactional experience, focusing on project finance and/or structured asset-based finance and non-recourse lending transactions.
  • Major law firm experience and a background in representing sponsors, developers, borrowers, lenders, or investors are preferred.
  • Strong drafting and negotiating skills.
  • Superior academic credentials from a reputable law school.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience in clean energy and climate infrastructure finance preferred.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Washington, DC bar or eligibility for admission.
