A law firm in Jacksonville is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with gaming regulatory experience, ideally with a background in representing the tribal gaming space. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and arguing discovery motions, taking and defending depositions, possessing exceptional oral and written advocacy skills, and demonstrating strong academic credentials. They must be adept in case management and ready to take the lead on various litigation matters. Admission to practice in a state is required.

Duties:

• Draft and argue discovery motions
• Take and defend depositions
• Manage cases from inception to resolution
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
• Prepare pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents
• Assist in trial preparation and strategy

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience representing clients in the gaming industry (., casino gaming, sports betting, iGaming, fantasy sports, etc.)
• Experience in a mid-size to large law firm setting
• Admission to practice in a state
• Strong academic credentials
• Exceptional oral and written advocacy skills
• Proficiency in case management
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:
