The State Personnel System is currently seeking a Senior Attorney to join their team in West Palm Beach, FL. As a Senior Attorney with Children's Legal Services, you will be responsible for advocating for the safety, well-being, and permanency of abused, abandoned, and neglected children in Florida. This includes working with a team of over 300 attorneys to lead the courtroom proceedings for each case. The primary goal of this role is to ensure that all legal requirements are met to secure permanent and safe homes for dependent children.

To be eligible for this position, you must have a law degree. However, training will be provided through a multi-week onboarding program and quarterly intensive trainings focusing on practical skills and litigation tactics. There is also an annual advanced litigation academy that coaches attorneys on high-level evidence techniques, expert witness challenges, and advocacy through technology.
