Candidates must have at least 3 years of insurance defense litigation experience and be an active member in good standing of the Georgia Bar. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn from experienced litigators, participate in case strategy and development, and both interact with and develop firm clients, all while earning a competitive salary.


Job Responsibilities

• Assist with the representation of clients in insurance defense litigation, including medical malpractice, general liability, premises liability, and transportation cases.
• Participate in case strategy and development.
• Develop and maintain relationships with firm clients.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and other proceedings.
• Prepare and respond to motions and pleadings.
• Review discovery documents and depositions.
• Research legal issues and provide legal advice.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.


Hiring Requirements

• JD or better in Law.
• Active member in good standing of the Georgia Bar.
• At least 3 years of insurance defense litigation experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.


Compensation

The successful candidate for this position will earn a salary of $120-150k depending on experience (plus benefits).
