The Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing legal assistance to low income and vulnerable individuals and families. With a strong commitment to public interest legal work, the organization frequently sponsors candidates for prestigious fellowships such as Skadden and Equal Justice Works. LAS also considers sponsoring candidates for other fellowships for which they may be eligible.

Responsibilities:
• Act as the main point of contact for prospective fellowship candidates
• Review and assess candidates' qualifications and commitment to public interest work
• Develop full fellowship proposal in line with LAS's mission and service priorities
• Liaise with fellowship candidate and other agency guidelines to ensure a successful application process
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth integration of fellowship program within the organization

Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in public interest legal work
• Strong commitment to working with low income and vulnerable individuals and families
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of fellowship programs and application process is preferred
