Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the primary attorney advising the corporate treasury team on capital markets and securities transactions
- Provide legal advice on the company's capital markets activities, including debt and equity issuances, repurchases, and redemptions
- Ensure compliance with securities law requirements and best practices for significant capital markets transactions
- Review and update relevant capital markets disclosures, such as registration statements and prospectuses
- Handle various corporate governance activities related to the company's funding transactions
- Provide legal advice and influence objectives, plans, resources, and long-term goals for liquidity and funding needs
- Handle matters that have a significant impact on the company's operations, funding, and liquidity
- Provide legal expertise on implementing and completing significant capital markets transactions

Required Qualifications:

- 5+ years of law experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- Active state bar membership or equivalent in a country outside the United States

Desired Qualifications:

- 5+ years of demonstrated knowledge and experience advising companies on capital markets transactions and securities law compliance matters
- Strong background in securities and corporate law, including knowledge of the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934
- Significant experience providing legal advice on capital markets transactions, including debt and equity issuances, repurchases, and redemptions
- Experience reviewing and updating capital markets disclosures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a complex environment with a high degree of collaboration
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Ability to analyze, develop, and execute solutions to complex legal issues

Job Expectations:

- Ability to work a hybrid schedule (in office at least 3 days a week) at one of the approved job posting locations

Salary Information:

The salary range for this position is $144, - $300, per year.
